Erica Deutsch’s journey with Guide Studio is a story of growth, passion, and a little bit of full-circle magic. A true boomerang employee, Erica initially joined the team as an Office Manager before transitioning into a Marketing and Sales role. After a few years away, where she gained invaluable experience as a Business Development Coordinator for an architecture firm, Erica found her way back to Guide Studio. Today, she serves as the Director of Client Services, a role that blends her deep expertise in business development with her natural talent for project management and client engagement.

A Heart for Collaboration and Connection

Since Erica rejoined Guide Studio, she has taken on increasingly impactful roles, including her integral place on the Leadership team. In the last two years, she has seamlessly expanded her responsibilities into project management, where her organization and knack for building trust shine. “I love meeting our clients, hearing their stories, and discovering their passion for their places,” Erica shares. “Even if you are not sure what to love at first glance, their enthusiasm is contagious—it makes me fall in love with their spaces, too.”

Erica’s philosophy is rooted in authenticity. Whether through weekly emails or thoughtful questions, she makes people feel seen and valued. “I’m not driven by curiosity for curiosity’s sake,” she admits. “It’s more about genuine interest—investing in people and their places because that connection matters.”

Pivotal Moments and Proud Achievements

One of Erica’s defining moments at Guide Studio came early in her career when she participated in a personality profile exercise. The insights affirmed her strengths in marketing, sales, and relationship building—encouraging her to step boldly into a path she had always envisioned for herself. “That moment gave me the confidence to say, ‘This is what I want to do,’” she recalls.

Her proudest professional achievement? Seeing projects through from start to finish, especially during a challenging time for implementation. “Last year was a highlight,” Erica says. “It felt amazing to help our clients bring their visions to life after a period where things felt stalled. Building that trust and being part of something tangible is incredibly rewarding.”

Beyond the Office

When she’s not leading Guide Studio’s client relationships or contributing to the company’s culture with her signature sarcasm and humor, Erica is a self-proclaimed sports mom, balancing schedules and cheering from the sidelines. Her knack for organization? That comes naturally from years of managing her kids’ sports teams. She’s also an avid reader and recently started tracking her books as a fun personal challenge.

Looking Ahead

Erica’s vision for Guide Studio is full of ambition and optimism. She hopes to see more sign programs implemented across the United States and aims to refine processes that allow her team—and herself—to operate with even greater efficiency. “The work we’re doing is meaningful and impactful,” she says. “I’m proud to be part of a team that helps clients uncover what makes them truly unique without adding unnecessary complexity.”

With Erica at the helm of client services, Guide Studio continues to stand out as a consultancy that values relationships as much as results. Her story is a testament to finding passion in your work and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others—clients and teammates alike.
