Plain City, OH, is a proud, modern-rural community offering safe, stress-free suburban living, diverse housing options, and exceptional schools—all within a short drive of central Ohio. Rooted in agricultural heritage yet forward-focused, the Village thrives on intentional planning, investment, and governance to preserve its charm while embracing thoughtful growth.
Despite its strengths, Plain City faced challenges with an outdated image and a lack of cohesive messaging, making it difficult to communicate its vision effectively. Recognizing the need for a unified municipal brand, we collaborated with the Village to craft an identity that captures its character and aspirations.
At the heart of the new brand is a timeless logo featuring the iconic clock tower—an emblem of both history and progress. The clean, structured typography and earthy color palette reflect the Village’s agricultural roots, small-town charm, and commitment to stability. The openness in the logo design reinforces Plain City as a “breath of fresh air,” a place where families and businesses can thrive.
This revitalized identity lays the foundation for expanded marketing efforts, improved signage, and more effective communication with residents, developers, and businesses. By positioning Plain City as a welcoming, balanced, and future-focused community, the brand helps ensure that its story resonates with both current and prospective stakeholders.
