Project Overview

Orange Township, a vibrant and rapidly growing community, is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, scenic parks, excellent schools, and convenient access to both shopping and Downtown Columbus. However, Township Trustees identified a key challenge—many residents were unaware they lived in Orange Township, often associating themselves with neighboring communities.

To bridge this gap, the township launched a Municipal Branding initiative to define a cohesive identity and strengthen community connection. Through community engagement & brand assessment, we uncovered critical insights about how residents perceive and interact with the township. This informed the development of a compelling brand strategy that authentically reflects Orange Township’s welcoming culture, natural beauty, and sense of belonging.

The new brand thoughtfully retains the iconic leaf—symbolizing the township’s heritage—while introducing a fresh color palette inspired by the name and local landscapes. This foundation extends beyond visuals, shaping messaging, community engagement, and digital experiences. The brand seamlessly comes to life through a strategically designed and developed website, ensuring residents can easily connect with township resources, events, and initiatives.

By prioritizing connection and positive experiences, Orange Township now has a strong identity that fosters pride, unity, and long-term growth—ensuring every resident feels at home in their community.
